Know Before You Jump - FAQ
Do I Need a Reservation?
A reservation the best way to ensure you can jump at the time and day you want. We highly recommend it.
Arrival Time
You have booked an arrival time, not a jump time.
Please arrive at your scheduled reservation time.
What to Bring
Anyone wishing to skydive must show valid government issued photo ID.
Accepted forms of photo ID: Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID, Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Resident Card and Secure Certificate of Indian Status Card.
We encourage you to leave any valuable items at home or secured in your vehicle, we do not have lockers on site.
What to Wear
Athletic, comfortable clothes are advised. T-shirts/tops with sleeves and shorts that cover the thigh area are recommended so that the harness fits comfortably. We recommend long pants regardless of temperatures.
Avoid wearing white or light-colored shorts or pants as they will get dirty.
Laced-up sneakers or sports shoes are ideal for your skydive. Please make sure your shoes don't have any buckles or studs on them.
Not Permitted: Sandals, boots, open-toe, or heeled/platform shoes of any type.
Customers are advised to remove any precious jewelry, watches, and/or other accessories before their skydive.
Every customer will be given protective eye goggles to wear during their skydive. If you need to wear prescription glasses or lenses during your skydive, please do so. You don't want to miss that view!
Weather
Skydiving is a weather-dependent sport. High-speed winds, poor visibility, rain, and low clouds, are just some of the reasons your skydive may get delayed or cancelled.
In case of bad weather, our team will announce a “Weather Hold”, which means we have to put our operations on hold. Regular announcements will be made updating you on the conditions while you wait at our location.
If the weather shows no signs of improving and we have to cancel operations, you will be given the option to reschedule.
Airborne Petawawa is not liable for any costs (travel, stay, etc.) incurred by the individual in the instances mentioned above. Please see "Refund Policy" above in the "Before you Book" for additional information.
